U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) continues to help small business owners and entrepreneurs pursue the American dream. SBA is the only cabinet-level federal agency fully dedicated to small business and provides counseling, capital, and contracting expertise as the nation’s only go-to resource and voice for small businesses. Financial assistance for new or existing businesses through guaranteed loans made by area bank and non-bank lenders is available. The local District Office provides a full range of loan programs. The Michigan District Office assists hundreds of small businesses each year by providing financial assistance through the 7(a) guarantee and 504 loan programs.
