Tree Well Plan

A goal of the East Dearborn Downtown Development Authority is to increase the outdoor dining experience. To do this, the EDDDA has developed a Tree Well Removal Plan for specific raised planter tree wells along Michigan Avenue so that local businesses can establish outdoor seating cafes in front of their business. The EDDDA adopted the plan 2020 and has authorized funding removal of planters on an as needed basis, including the planters in front of M Cantina and Joe’s Top Dog as the first planters to be removed.
