ZAGSTER CLOSES BIKE SHARE PROGRAMS NATIONALLY

It is with great disappointment to inform you that Zagster, the provider of the Dearborn Bike Share program, has made the difficult decision to terminate services in our community, as well as many others across the United States, due to the business strain COVID-19 has had on their company.

We want to assure you that the City of Dearborn and its Dearborn Bike Share partners are committed to providing biking opportunities to our residents, students and visitors. We are quickly evaluating the needs of our community, lessons learned and the new demands that COVID-19 may place on a replacement mobility option. We will continue to keep you updated as more detail becomes available.

Zagster bikes are being withdrawn between now and June 12.  Riders should have received an email from Zagster with details about the closure. Information is available on the Zagster website and in their mobile app.
